NYC-based photographer Nomi Ellenson captures beauty, the moments of life that are intimate, raw and empowering, by bringing out the inner goddesses within her clients. She works together with her subjects to showcase their most-confident and badass self.
Nomi’s background is in fashion photography, working for clients such as Getty and Cosmopolitan. But now, she specializes in boudoir and empowerment photography – it’s become her comfort zone, combining her love for fashion and helping others bring their inner beauty outwards.
Making women feel their most powerful comes naturally to Nomi, derived from her roots. Nomi’s great-grandmother Selma was a bra fitter in Manhattan until the age of 95. She was famous for helping ladies find the right fit, but also helped them feel fabulous and confident. Nomi channels that intention in her boudoir sessions.
How Nomi defines beauty
“When it comes down to it, beauty is something that is subjective. So we all have our own perspectives on the matter… However, one thing that is undeniable is the power and beauty of confidence! Confidence is all you need to have a successful session and we guarantee that you won’t be able to contain it by the end.”
